After all the planning and anticipation, our great Southwest Adventure has officially come to an end.
We left Lancaster this morning and ultimately took I-77 through West Virginia and into Charlotte.
It was a beautiful day, so it was nice to end on a sunny note.
We made good time, arriving in Charlotte at around 5pm. We stopped at Price's Chicken Coop to pick up dinner, and then hurried home to enjoy it.
Yes, we are walking around mounds of laundry to be done, but the nice thing is that we have all weekend to do it!
And I said good-bye to my Mountain Man......I gave Rick a nice short haircut tonight and he shaved off his beard (well, he has saved a gotee for me, but I do not know how long he will agree to sport that around).
The good news is.....we can still stand to be in each other's company and we are still smiling!
